Overview
The Vimar Eikon 20044 cable outlet is a 1-module cable entry with cord-grip for bringing a cable through an Eikon plate opening in a clean, finished way. It carries CE marking and IMQ certification, and the range is offered in grey, white, and silver finishes to match the surrounding trim.
On board, this type of insert is useful where a cable needs to exit neatly from an interior panel, berth area, service locker, or protected helm console. It gives the cable a controlled exit point through an Eikon modular frame instead of leaving an open cutout in the panel.
Key features
- 1-module insert for the Vimar Eikon modular range
- Cable outlet with built-in cord-grip to hold the cable where it exits the panel
- Available in grey, white, and silver finishes for matching Eikon trim
- Listed as a cable entry and suitable for use with surface-mounted boxes for flush-mounted switching equipment
- CE marked and IMQ certified
Variants
This product is offered in three finish options so the visible outlet can stay consistent with the rest of the Eikon installation.
The variation across the listed versions is the finish color. The cable outlet format and 1-module layout remain the same across these options.
- VM20044.B: Color White, similar RAL 9016. This suits installations with white Eikon trim or lighter interior panels where the outlet should blend in visually.
- VM20044.N: Color Silver, similar RAL 9022. This corresponds to the Eikon Next look and works well with silver-toned trim and modern helm or cabin finishes.
- VM20044: Color Grey, similar RAL 7024. This is the darker option in the range and fits installations built around grey Eikon components.
Compatibility and fit
This insert takes one Eikon module position, so it makes sense where the boat already uses the Vimar Eikon system for switches, sockets, or matching accessories. It is not a universal pass-through for unrelated switch ranges, so the frame and mounting arrangement should match the Eikon platform before ordering.
Use on board
This is a good match for refits and new builds that use Eikon hardware in cabins, furniture panels, and protected control areas where a cable has to pass through the finish without looking improvised. For exposed spray, washdown zones, or deck penetrations, the installation may call for a sealed cable gland rather than an interior cable outlet.
