The Garmin 010-11968-00 is a second mounting station kit that adds another fixed mount location for compatible echoMAP and GPSMAP chartplotters on the same boat. It includes a wiring harness that powers the display and supports connection to an optional NMEA 0183 network.

Before ordering, match the model name on your display to the compatibility list above. This mounting station is specific to the echoMAP 50 series and GPSMAP 5x7 series units listed, and mounting patterns and connectors are not interchangeable across unrelated Garmin families.

Installation and wiring

Mount the bracket on a solid, flat surface where the screen can be seen clearly from your normal steering position. For open boats or exposed helms, plan cable routing so the connector is protected, and leave a drip loop in the harness run to keep water from tracking into the console.

Run the harness to your DC distribution and make clean, strain-relieved terminations. If you are tying into NMEA 0183, route the data leads to the correct talker/listener connections in your system plan and keep signal wiring tidy and separated from high-current runs to reduce noise.
