Overview

The Lumishore 010-04438-00 is a regulated strip light driver with a built-in stabilizer for LUX Strip Lights and LUX Neon Flex on 12V or 24V boats. It accepts 10.5 to 31 V DC input and manages output across multiple channels so lighting stays consistent when battery voltage and alternator output move around.

This driver supports full spectrum RGB and tunable white color temperature from 2700K to 6500K when paired with compatible LUX lighting. Keep the cable run from the driver to the start of the first LED strip within 5 m (16.8 ft); it can power multiple strips up to 10 m (32.8 ft) total strip length.

Built-in protection for surge events, low voltage, reverse polarity, and inrush current is helpful on boats where wiring runs, load changes, and heat can be unpredictable. It is rated to ISO 8846 for ignition protection, which matters when ignition-protected equipment is required.

Installation and setup

Mount the driver on a solid surface where it is protected from direct spray but still reachable for service. Secure the wiring so connectors cannot work loose under vibration, and leave some space around the housing so heat can dissipate during long lighting runs.

Run power from a properly protected DC circuit and confirm polarity before energizing the system. For best results, keep within the stated cable length to the first strip and avoid splices in wet areas unless they are fully sealed.
