Installation and setup

Plan the mounting location the same way you would for a spreader or forward work light: high enough to clear rails and hardware, but aimed so the beam lands on deck surfaces instead of reflecting back into the helm. For a clean install, route the light cable into a dry space, use a proper cable gland or sealed pass-through, and keep splices and connections out of the bilge. Even with an IP68-rated fixture, the system is only as dependable as the connections and strain relief you provide around it.

Control can be as simple as a standard on-off switch, or it can be tied into ECLIPSE Command Center or EOS-LUX Command Center setups. When using a command center, the wiring changes to a 3-wire connection, so it is worth confirming your control method before you start pulling cable.
