Overview

The Lumishore 010-04500-00 is a 4 inch flush-fit LED flood light for boats that runs on 10.5 to 31 V DC and gives full CRGBW control, including tunable white from 2700K to 6500K plus red, green, and blue.

The beam is a wide oval (about 70 to 90 degrees), which spreads light across a cockpit, deck, or swim platform without needing multiple narrow spots. The housing is rated IP68 for wet mounting locations and routine washdowns.

Installation and wiring

Flush-fit mounting means cutting a hole and fastening the flange to a solid surface. Dry-fit first to confirm clearance behind the panel for the body and cable bend, then bed the flange with marine sealant so water does not migrate into the core.

Power it from a properly fused DC circuit that stays within the 10.5 to 31 V input range. Use tinned marine wire and heat-shrink sealed connections, and route the cable away from sharp edges, hinge points, and high-heat areas.

Control and lighting behavior

White output can be tuned from warm (2700K) to cool (6500K), and the RGB channels let you set steady colors when you want a different look on deck or less glare at night. Control is supported through an EOS-LUX Command Center or a customer-supplied momentary switch, depending on how the boat is wired.

Materials and care

The body is powder-coated aluminum with a frosted lens, which holds up well in exposed mounting spots when you keep up with basic care. Rinse with fresh water after heavy salt spray, and avoid aggressive solvents or abrasives on the lens.

If the fixture is mounted where it will see frequent spray, leaving a small service loop in the wiring helps later inspection and resealing without having to cut and re-terminate cables.
