Overview
The Blue Sea Systems 8031 is a 30-label AC panel set for marking common onboard AC circuits with clear, consistent legends. Each label measures 1.438 x 0.438 in., and the set covers common circuit names such as air conditioner, battery charger, inverter, outlets, refrigerator, microwave, water heater, TV/stereo, and spare, along with one blank label for a custom circuit.
The label stock is reinforced and weatherproof, which makes it a better long-term replacement for handwritten tags or worn factory legends around the helm, cabin, or electrical panel. On a boat, that matters when you are tracing a fault, isolating one branch circuit, or cleaning up an older AC panel during a refit.
Key features
- Set of 30 common AC circuit labels, including one blank label for a custom legend
- Reinforced, weatherproof label material that holds up better in damp marine panel spaces
- Used on Contura Waterproof Fuse Panels, ST Glass Fuse Blocks, and raised rocker and toggle circuit breaker panels
- 1.438 x 0.438 in. label size helps when checking fit on an existing panel before replacing old legends
- Covers common onboard AC loads such as outlets, galley circuits, climate control, entertainment, battery charging, and water heating
Compatibility and fit
This set is used on Contura Waterproof Fuse Panels, ST Glass Fuse Blocks, and raised rocker and toggle circuit breaker panels. For retrofit work, compare the label window on your existing panel with the 1.438 x 0.438 in. size so the text sits cleanly and stays easy to read at the switch, breaker, or fuse position.
It is a practical match for boats with a straightforward AC distribution layout where the panel needs clear names for branch circuits in the cabin, galley, entertainment area, or utility spaces. It also works well when the electrical system is still sound but the original legends are faded, missing, or inconsistent from past modifications.
Installation and use
For the cleanest result, remove old labels and residue before applying the new legends, then align each label with the switch, breaker, or fuse position it identifies. Keeping the terminology consistent across the panel makes troubleshooting faster when a charger, inverter-fed outlet, air conditioner, or appliance circuit needs to be shut down or checked.
