Overview

The TACO Marine WP-150WHA-1 is a pair of white wedge plates for mounting Grand Slam outrigger bases on curved T-tops. These injection molded plastic wedges help bring the outrigger base back to a perpendicular position, giving the installation a straighter and cleaner look when the T-top surface has a slight curve.

Each plate measures 6-11/16" long by 4-9/16" wide and uses an 8° wedge angle in Arctic White. The plates are made for TACO Grand Slam outrigger bases, including GS-280, GS-2801, GS-380, GS-380XL, GS-390, GS-390XL, and GS-390-180.

For center console fishing boats with curved hard tops or T-tops, this is a practical fitting piece when the outrigger mount needs to sit square instead of following the curve of the top. It helps keep the outrigger base aligned without adding unnecessary drilling to the installation.

Compatibility and fit

This wedge plate set is meant for TACO Grand Slam outrigger installations where the T-top surface is not flat enough for the base to sit straight on its own. The fit is specific to listed Grand Slam bases, so matching the outrigger base model before ordering is important.

The 6-11/16" by 4-9/16" footprint and 8° angle should be checked against the existing mounting area, especially on boats with tight electronics boxes, spreader lights, antennas, or other hardware already installed on the top.

Installation and setup

The wedge plates sit between the T-top surface and the outrigger base to correct the base angle. During installation, both sides should be aligned consistently so the outriggers deploy evenly and the bases look balanced from port to starboard.
