Overview
The Raymarine E70639-00-NAG is a 12.1-inch Axiom+ RV multifunction display with built-in RealVision 3D sonar hardware, Navionics North America chart coverage, and no transducer in the box. It brings chartplotting and fishfinding together on a 1280 x 800 IPS touchscreen that reaches 1,800 nits, so the screen stays readable at an open helm in bright sun.
It runs on a 12 V system with an 8 to 16 V operating range, has an internal 10 Hz GPS and GNSS receiver, and carries IPX6/IPX7 water protection for spray, rain, and washdowns. This version is a practical fit when the transducer choice is being handled separately, whether the boat already has a compatible setup in mind or the sonar install still needs to be matched to the hull.
Key features
- 12.1-inch IPS touchscreen with 1280 x 800 resolution, 88-degree viewing angles, and up to 1,800 nits for clear viewing at the helm
- Built-in RealVision 3D sonar platform with high CHIRP, DownVision, SideVision, and 600 W digital sonar when paired with a compatible transducer
- Navionics North America chart coverage included for chartplotting on coastal and inland waters
- 12 V nominal power with an 8 to 16 V operating range and a 7 A fuse or thermal breaker rating
- IPX6/IPX7 water protection and coated glass that helps shed water, oil, and smudges on a wet helm
- One RayNet Ethernet port, NMEA 2000 connection, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB Micro B, 16 GB internal storage, and MicroSDXC card support
- Surface, flush, or trunnion mounting options for new builds and retrofit helms
Compatibility and fit
This model uses a 25-pin RealVision transducer connection and works with compatible RV-100, RV-200, RV-300, and RV-400 Series transducers. That matters if you are matching the display to an existing transducer plan or laying out a fresh sonar install around hull material, mounting position, and the type of fishing or bottom tracking you expect to do.
For the rest of the system, it can join a RayNet network and a NMEA 2000 backbone, so the display can share data with other compatible electronics on board. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth help with wireless connectivity, while the MicroSDXC slot gives you room for chart and data storage.
Installation and setup
The face of the unit measures 314 x 217 mm for surface or flush mounting. On a trunnion mount, overall height is 226.72 mm and unit depth is 76.2 mm before cable clearance. Behind the dash, allow room for connections, with up to 178 mm using straight connectors or 158 mm with right-angle connectors.
The mounting flexibility is useful on center consoles, pilothouse layouts, and refit projects where dash space is tight but a 12-inch screen still makes sense. It is also a straightforward choice for owners moving to a brighter display and newer networking without stepping into a larger multi-screen helm.
Use on board
This is a strong match for inshore and coastal fishing boats that want one main screen for charting, sonar, and connected system data. It also works well in refit jobs where the display is being upgraded first and the transducer selection will follow once the hull and mounting method are confirmed.
