Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision VEI510S is a detailed electronic chart covering the Dnieper River, the Sea of Azov, and the Black Sea coast, giving you chartplotter-ready mapping for everything from inland river transits to coastal legs. Coverage includes the Dnieper River from the Belarus Ukraine border down to the Black Sea, plus the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea coastline from the Danube Delta to Sochi, including the full Crimean coast.
This chart adds premium viewing layers that help with situational awareness when you are running unfamiliar channels or approaching harbors, including 3D perspective views above and below the waterline, satellite imagery overlays, and photo points in supported areas.
Key features
- Regional coverage for the Dnieper River, the Sea of Azov, and the Black Sea coast from the Danube Delta to Sochi
- Available as a preprogrammed microSD/SD card or as a downloadable version you install to a card
- 3D chart views (MarinerEye and FishEye) for an easier read of bottom structure and surrounding terrain
- Depth Range Shading for up to 10 depth ranges to quickly highlight the depths you care about
- Up to 1-foot depth contours for more detail in bottom shape and tight areas
- Shallow Water Shading that can be set to your chosen depth threshold
- Auto Guidance routing that uses chart data and the parameters you enter (such as depth and overhead clearance) to suggest a path
Variants
This chart is offered in multiple formats so you can match how you load charts to your current setup.
The coverage and chart content stay focused on the same VEI510S region, while the format changes how you install and manage the mapping.
- 010-C1128-00: Format microSD/SD. This comes ready to insert into a compatible chartplotter with a microSD or SD card slot.
- 010-D1448-00: Format Download. This is installed to a compatible microSD/SD card using Garmin Express, which is handy when you prefer digital delivery or are managing multiple chart cards.
Compatibility and fit
You will need a compatible Garmin chartplotter that supports BlueChart g3 Vision mapping and has a microSD or SD card slot. If your helm has multiple displays connected on a Garmin Marine Network, the chart can be read from a single mapping card across compatible networked chartplotters.
Installation and setup
For the card format, power down the chartplotter, insert the microSD/SD card, then power back up and select the chart layers you want to see. For the download format, use Garmin Express to write the chart to a microSD/SD card, then insert that card into the chartplotter.
If you use Auto Guidance, treat it as route planning support and always verify the suggested path against local conditions, notices, and what you can see on the water.
Use on board
This chart makes sense for skippers who run the Dnieper corridor, move between Azov ports, or make coastal passages along the Black Sea and want more than a basic shoreline outline. It is also useful when you are arriving at new harbors and want extra visual context from 3D views and imagery where available.
