The Raymarine D244 is a SeaTalk 3-way junction block for joining Raymarine SeaTalk devices through three SeaTalk sockets. Compatibility and fit

Mount the junction block in a dry, accessible area where SeaTalk cables can be routed without sharp bends or strain on the connectors. Behind the instrument panel, near an autopilot control area, or inside a protected electronics compartment are common locations.

After connecting the SeaTalk cables, secure the cable runs so vibration and helm movement do not pull on the sockets. For troubleshooting later, it is worth keeping the block reachable rather than burying it behind permanent panels.
