Overview

The Lopolight 201-012-FB 2.5M is a 360 degree all-round white LED anchor light rated for 2 nautical miles of visibility, built for horizontal mounting with an FB flat base and a pre-attached 2.5 m shielded cable.

It runs on 10-32 VDC so it works on both 12V and 24V systems, and it is sealed to IP68 for exposed mounting where the light will see spray and routine washdowns.

The body measures Ø92.5 mm x 36 mm and uses an aluminum housing with silver anodizing (25 µ), a PMMA lens, and A4 stainless fasteners.

Installation and setup

The FB base is meant for horizontal mounting on a flat surface or on a pole base where the cable can pass through the center. Plan the cable route before drilling so the cable stays protected below deck, then seal the fasteners and cable pass-through to keep water out of the mounting surface.

Because this is an all-round anchor light, it should be mounted as high and as unobstructed as practical for your vessel, with the lens clear of antennas, flags, and other gear that can shadow the 360 degree arc.

Electrical and system integration

The light accepts 10-32 VDC and draws low current, which makes it straightforward to integrate into existing anchor light wiring on either 12V or 24V systems. If you splice or extend the lead, keep connections watertight and match the conductor size to at least 0.5 mm2 (AWG 22) for the run.

Compatibility and fit

Maintenance and care
