Overview

The Simrad CB-1 is a cantilever tiller bracket that gives you a solid mounting point for Simrad TP Series tiller pilots on a vertical surface in the cockpit. The bracket adjusts from 135 to 240 mm (5.31 to 9.44 in) so you can set the pilot at the right reach and keep clearances where you need them.

It is used when the tiller pilot needs a fixed “shore side” attachment on a coaming or bulkhead instead of a flat mounting pad. The mounting pattern includes five holes so the horizontal spacing can be shifted to line up the pilot cleanly with the tiller connection.

This is a mechanical autopilot mounting accessory, not a chartplotter or display bracket.

Use appropriate marine fasteners and backing support for thin fiberglass panels, seal any drilled holes, and check for interference with lockers, seat lids, and sheet leads through the full swing of the tiller.
