• 010-C0698-00: Format microSD/SD. Insert the chart card into a compatible chartplotter with a microSD or SD card slot and access the region from the chart menu.
• 010-D0392-00: Format Download. Use Garmin Express to download and install the chart to a microSD/SD card for use in a compatible chartplotter.

Compatibility and fit

This is a region-specific chart product, so the key fit check is coverage: confirm your planned routes fall within the Labrador Coast and Newfoundland areas listed above. Your chartplotter must support BlueChart g3 Vision and be able to read the chart from a microSD/SD card.

Installation and setup

For the card format, power the chartplotter off, insert the microSD/SD card, then power back on and select the chart layer from the chart screen. For the download format, install the chart to a microSD/SD card with Garmin Express and then insert that card into the chartplotter.

Keep chart cards clean and dry when handling them at the helm, and avoid swapping cards during spray or washdowns. If you are loading charts by download, plan on dedicating a card to the chart you install.
