Overview
The Hella Marine Value Fit LED 4 Cube Flood Light is a compact LED flood light for decks, cockpits, and spreader-style mounting where you want a wide, usable work beam. It runs on 10 to 30 VDC (12V or 24V systems), draws 12W, and uses a sealed IP67-rated housing that holds up to spray, washdowns, and life on an exposed rail or hardtop.
This is a four-LED cube with a flood pattern and cool white output that helps you see lines, cleats, and hardware without the yellow tint you get from older halogen spots. It is an auxiliary light for onboard task lighting, not a navigation light.
Key features
- 10 to 30 VDC input for 12V and 24V DC systems
- 12W LED load for low draw on house batteries
- IP67 sealing for rain, spray, and routine washdowns
- Four-LED cube flood pattern for deck and cockpit work light coverage
- Die-cast aluminum housing with a stainless steel mounting bracket
- Offered in black or white housing to match topsides and hardtops
Variants
This light is offered in multiple configurations based on housing color.
The option that changes across the range is the exterior color, while the light remains the same 4-LED cube flood format for deck and spreader use.
- 357204031: Product color Black. A dark housing that blends in on black rails, t-tops, and electronics boxes.
- 357204041: Product color White. A light housing that looks clean on white hardtops, arches, and cabin sides.
Installation and setup
Plan the mounting location the same way you would for a spreader or cockpit light: aim the beam down onto the working area and keep it out of direct line of sight from the helm to reduce glare. A high mounting point on a hardtop, radar arch, or spreader area will usually give the most useful flood coverage on deck.
Wire it to a switched circuit with the correct fuse for your installation and use marine-grade cable, sealed heat-shrink terminals, and a watertight cable pass-through where the wire enters the structure. If the light is mounted on a metal surface, keep fasteners snug and re-check after the first few runs as vibration settles the bracket.
Compatibility and fit
With a 10 to 30 VDC input, this light is a match for common 12V and 24V boats without needing a converter. It works well as a standalone deck light, as a cockpit work light for fishing and docking, or as a spreader-style flood on a hardtop or arch when you want broad area light rather than distance throw.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt and grime off the housing and bracket during normal washdowns, and keep the mounting hardware clean so it can be adjusted later if you need to re-aim the beam. Periodically inspect the wiring where it flexes near the mount and make sure the cable entry points remain sealed after seasonal temperature changes.
