This outlet is available in two finish options within the same Plana range.

What changes between the listed variants is the visible color and the surface protection. The Swiss Type 13 configuration, 10 A and 250 V AC rating, 2-module format, screw-terminal connection, flush-mounted installation, IP20 protection, and overall dimensions remain the same across both versions.

• VM14226: White color with untreated surface protection. It keeps the standard white appearance of the range.
• VM14226.SL: Silver color with lacquered surface protection. It changes the visible finish to silver while keeping the same outlet format.

Installation and fit

This outlet is for fixed installation in a flush-mounted interior panel. Before installation, confirm that the boat uses the Swiss Type 13 standard at the intended location, that the circuit is suitable for a 250 V AC outlet rated at 10 A, and that there is enough rear clearance for the 51.5 mm device depth and the screw-terminal wiring.

Because the protection rating is IP20, it belongs in sheltered spaces such as cabins, saloons, or other protected accommodation areas. It is not the right choice for exposed deck locations, open cockpits, or any position that sees direct spray, rain, or washdown water.

Use on board
