Overview
The Vimar VM19620 is a 14 (7+7)-module mounting frame with fixing screws for ARKÉ modular devices, made to mount on compatible flush or surface mounting boxes.
It is the support that keeps modular devices lined up behind the cover plate so the finished switch bank sits straight and stays easy to use on board. Modules insert from the front side, which helps during wiring and later service when a device needs to be swapped without disturbing the whole panel.
The layout is two rows of seven modules, and the frame can be installed horizontally or vertically to match the way your helm or cabin panels are arranged.
Key features
- 14-module capacity in a 7+7 layout (two rows of seven modules)
- Fits V71320, V71620, and V71720 flush mounting boxes, and the 09920 surface mounting box
- Screw mounting helps keep the frame tight to the box in a boat that vibrates underway
- Front-side module insertion for easier wiring, labeling, and future servicing
- Supports both horizontal and vertical orientations
- Thermoplastic construction with untreated surface protection
- Not intended for 60 mm round junction boxes, subfloor installation duct boxes, wall ducts, or 35 mm DIN-rail mounting
What's included
- Mounting frame, 14 modules (7+7)
- Fixing screws
Compatibility and fit
This frame is sized for ARKÉ modular installations that use a 14-module (7+7) format, along with the correct mounting box and a matching cover plate for that format. Confirm the box model and the planned module layout before ordering so the finished panel aligns correctly.
Installation and setup
Fasten the frame to the mounting box with the fixing screws, insert the modules from the front, then complete the installation with the cover plate once wiring is finished. On boats, leave enough service slack behind the panel so individual modules can be removed without pulling on conductors.
Use on board
This format makes sense when you are building a larger ARKÉ switch bank at the helm, nav station, galley, or cabin entry where you want a clean two-row layout. For locations that see spray or washdowns, pair the installation with an appropriate enclosure and cover approach so the wiring space stays protected.
Maintenance and service
Service access is straightforward: remove the cover plate and the modules are reachable from the front. As part of routine onboard checks, recheck mounting tightness if the boat sees heavy vibration or frequent temperature swings.
