Overview
The Vimar VM19617 is a 7-module mounting frame from the ARKÉ series that screws into a 6/7-module mounting box to hold modular devices flush and square. It supports horizontal or vertical mounting and allows front-side module insertion, which helps when you are building out a clean switch or outlet bank at the helm, in the cabin, or in a sheltered cockpit panel.
The frame is made from untreated thermoplastic and is intended for standard rectangular mounting boxes; it is not suitable for 60 mm round junction boxes or subfloor installations. It suits boats already rigged with ARKÉ modular wiring devices where you want a screw-fixed frame that keeps a 7-module row aligned behind the cover plate.

Compatibility and fit
This frame is part of the ARKÉ modular system and is meant to be used with compatible ARKÉ modules and cover plates sized for a 7-module opening. Verify the mounting box format on your boat is a 6/7-module style box before ordering, especially when replacing older European-style wiring devices.
If you are matching existing trim, confirm that your current cover plate series is ARKÉ; frames and plates from different series can look similar but do not always share the same fixing points.
Installation and setup
Isolate power to the circuit, then position the frame over the mounting box and secure it using the supplied screws. Once the frame is firm and aligned, insert the modules from the front side and complete terminations with enough slack for future servicing.
On boats, it helps to confirm the mounting box itself is solidly fastened to the panel and that wiring is strain-relieved, since vibration can loosen assemblies over time.
Maintenance and care
For routine cleaning, wipe the visible surfaces with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid aggressive solvents that can haze thermoplastic parts and make future trim matching harder.
