Overview

The Vimar IDEA Series is a double indicator unit for two signalling units in a one-module flush-mounted format. It is rated for 250 V, uses exchangeable LED signalling units, and carries an IP40 protection rating for interior installations where the device is kept out of direct spray and washdown.

This is the indicator body only and it is supplied without signalling units. It suits Vimar IDEA modular switch assemblies on boats and in other interiors where you need visual status indication at a helm panel, in a cabin control point, or on a service panel without using extra module space.

Variants

This unit is offered in three configurations, with the visible differences limited to body color and diffuser color.

Across the listed versions, the product format remains the same: a one-module double indicator unit for flush mounting in the IDEA range. Each version is supplied without signalling units.

• VM16432.RV: grey body with red and green indicator diffusers. This version keeps the darker IDEA look and gives separate red and green visual indication points.
• VM16432.RV.B: white body with red and green indicator diffusers. It keeps the same two-color indication layout in a white finish for lighter switch panels.
• VM16432.B: white body with neutral indicator diffusers. This version keeps the white finish and a more understated front appearance where colored diffuser windows are not wanted.

Compatibility and fit

This unit is meant for IDEA modular switching assemblies and should be matched with the correct support, cover plate, and signalling units for that system. Before ordering, check that your panel or wall position is set up for a one-module device and that the mounting point is in an enclosed interior area.

Use on board

On a boat, this kind of indicator unit makes sense in protected spaces such as cabins, interior helm stations, and service panels where system status needs to stay easy to read.
