Overview

The Vimar Eikon neutral double indicator unit is a 1-module flush-mount insert for two signalling units, with neutral diffusers and a 250 V nominal rating. It is supplied without the signalling unit, so it is the front indicator body rather than a complete illuminated assembly.

This range fits Eikon modular switching layouts where a compact visual indicator is needed on a panel, bulkhead, or interior control point. The housing is thermoplastic, halogen-free, and finished in matt plastic, with an IP40 rating and snap-in fastening for straightforward integration into the matching support and cover system.

On board, it makes the most sense in protected interior locations such as cabin switch panels, technical spaces, or enclosed helm areas where you want a clean indicator position within a Vimar Eikon installation. Because it is IP40, it is better suited to dry or lightly protected spaces rather than exposed deck or washdown areas.

This product is offered in three finish options within the same Eikon neutral double indicator unit format.

The variant change is the visible finish and colour. The functional layout remains the same across the range where confirmed, including the 1-module body, double indicator format for 2 signalling units, flush mounting, IP40 protection, and 250 V nominal rating.

• VM20388.B, white. This version suits switch panels and interior trim where a lighter finish is already used across the cabin or service area.
• VM20388.N, silver. This finish gives the indicator a more metallic look and works well where the surrounding Eikon hardware uses the Next silver style.
• VM20388, grey. This option keeps the same function with a darker neutral appearance that blends more easily into grey switch surrounds and technical panels.

Installation and fit

This insert is made for flush mounting and uses snap engagement, so fit depends on using the correct Eikon support and finishing parts around it. It occupies one module position and is intended for installations already built around the Vimar modular switching system.

Because the light source is not included, the assembly should be planned as part of the full switch and indicator setup rather than as a stand-alone part. That is the main point to check before ordering, especially when replacing a single insert in an existing panel.
