The Vimar Eikon EVO 21648 is a 3-module cover plate for British Standard mounting that finishes a Vimar Eikon wiring device point with a look that sits flush and keeps the edges tidy.

It can be mounted horizontally or vertically and covers a 3-unit layout (3 units across, 1 unit high). Overall size is 95.40 mm x 95.40 mm with a depth of 9.85 mm, which helps it stay low profile once clipped in place.

This is a decorative face plate with an IP00 rating, so it belongs in interior locations that stay dry, such as cabins, saloons, navigation stations, or an enclosed helm.

Across the range, the finish varies by material and color, including bevelled crystal options, multiple aluminium finishes, natural leather in cream or tobacco, solid wood species, Corian Glacier Ice, carved stone looks such as Carrara White, natural split slate and grey quartzite, and selected gold-frame combinations.

Compatibility and fit

This plate fits British Standard 3-module (3M BS) mounting points used with Vimar Eikon devices. It clips onto a matching 3M BS frame, which aligns the devices within the back box and provides the mounting grid behind the plate.

Confirm your installation uses the British Standard version of the 3-module format and the correct frame for the box style already on the boat (built-in box, wall duct, or floor box system).

Installation and setup

Install and wire the modules and the matching 3M BS frame first, then press the cover plate into place until the clamp points engage. Isolate power to the circuit before working on the installation.

On boats that see vibration, a solid mounting surface and a properly secured frame helps the plate stay seated and keeps switch alignment clean over time.

Care and maintenance

Wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and strong solvents, especially on crystal, anodized aluminium, wood, leather, Corian, and stone finishes where harsh cleaners can leave visible marks.

Use on board

This series suits yachts and refits that use Vimar Eikon devices and want a consistent finish across cabins and interior control points. For areas that get spray or routine washdowns, place it behind a protective cover or move the switching point to a sheltered location, since the plate itself is not an ingress-sealed barrier.
