Overview

The Lumishore LUX Strip/Neon Flex Light 6 Core Cable Splitter is a 6-core lighting splitter for branching one Lumishore LUX Strip or Neon Flex lighting output into multiple runs. It is used when a boat lighting layout needs separate strip or flex sections fed from the same source, such as port and starboard accent runs, a split cockpit layout, or multiple short runs around cabinetry or seating.

This splitter range supports 2-way and 3-way configurations, so the installer can match the branch count to the lighting plan without cutting and splicing the main harness. The 6-core format keeps the multi-channel lighting conductors together, which is important for color-changing and multi-channel Lumishore strip and flex installations.

Variants

This product is offered in two splitter configurations. The difference is the number of lighting branches created from the source connection.

Both versions are 6-core cable splitters for Lumishore LUX Strip and Neon Flex lighting installations.

• 010-14465-00, Cable Splitter 2-way. This version splits the feed into two lighting runs, which suits layouts where the light path separates in two directions.
• 010-14466-00, Cable Splitter 3-way. This version splits the feed into three lighting runs, which is useful when a layout needs an additional branch without adding a separate source connection.

Installation and setup

Use the splitter as part of a planned Lumishore strip or flex lighting layout, keeping total system load, driver capacity, cable routing, and branch lengths within the limits of the connected lighting system. Power should be isolated before installation, and the wiring should be installed by a qualified marine electrical technician.

On board, the most practical use is to keep lighting runs tidy where one feed needs to serve separate areas.
