Overview
The Hella Marine EuroLED 150 Touch Lamp is a recessed round downlight family for 12V and 24V systems, built around Multivolt 9 to 33V DC electronics and a low 4.0W draw (about 0.33A at 12V, 0.16A at 24V).
It installs as a 150 mm round lamp with a 124 mm cutout and roughly 20 mm mounting depth, making it a straightforward swap for many common 150 mm downlight openings. Each lamp is supplied pre-wired with 500 mm of marine cable and built as a sealed unit for interior or exterior locations where washdowns and moisture are part of life onboard.

Installation and fit
Plan for a 124 mm cutout and enough clearance behind the mounting surface for the lamp body and cable. On thin headliners or panels, use appropriate backing support so the lamp sits flat without flexing when the boat is moving.
For exterior or damp interior areas, route the cable away from chafe points and leave a service loop so the lamp can be removed later without stressing the wiring.
Electrical and control notes
These lamps run on DC power only and are polarity conscious. If wired in reverse, the lamp will not operate, but the protection circuitry prevents damage.
Touch Switch versions are controlled at the lamp face. For dual-colour Touch models, the colour pad selects the coloured mode and the white pad selects white, with dimming activated by holding a finger on the pad. Standard versions are switched by applying or removing power from the supply circuit.
Use cases on board
This format is a good match for cabins, heads, galleys, and covered cockpits where you want a low-draw downlight that stays consistent across 12V and 24V systems. Dual-colour versions are also a practical choice at the helm or in the cockpit when red or blue light is preferred for low-glare night operation.
