Overview
The Garmin 010-12667-02 is a marine mounting bracket and protective case made to install a Garmin GC 100 marine camera in a fixed location on your boat. It gives the camera a more secure home at the helm, on a bulkhead, under a hardtop, or other spots where the camera could get bumped during docking or while gear is moving around on deck.
This kit is meant for boat owners who already run the GC 100 camera and want a cleaner, more protected install than a loose surface mount. Once the bracket is fastened to a solid surface, the case helps keep the camera supported and better guarded in day-to-day use.
Key features
- Made for Garmin GC 100 marine camera installations
- Protective case helps shield the camera body from knocks and contact in tight spaces
- Mount bracket supports a fixed, screw-down installation on common onboard mounting surfaces
- Mounting hardware is included for attaching the bracket to the boat
- Useful for placing a camera view where it matters, such as aft-facing for docking or aimed over a cockpit work area
What’s included
- Mount bracket
- Protective case
- Mounting hardware
Installation and setup
Plan the location with the camera view in mind and confirm you have enough clearance to access the camera and route its cable. Mount to a firm surface with good backing, and seal fastener penetrations as you would for any exterior or splash-prone mounting point on a boat.
After mounting, tidy the cable run so it is supported and not pulling on the camera. If the camera is installed where it will see spray or washdowns, keep connectors and cable entry points protected and positioned to shed water.
Compatibility and fit
This mount and case is intended for the Garmin GC 100 marine camera. Confirm your camera model before ordering, and verify the mounting surface is flat enough for the bracket footprint and strong enough to hold hardware securely.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt residue with fresh water as needed and check fasteners periodically, especially after trailering or running in rough water. If the camera view changes over time, inspect the mount area for movement and re-secure hardware as required.
