Overview
The Garmin 010-12765-00 is a 10 m power cable for the GC 100 marine camera. It gives you the extra reach needed when the camera sits aft or up high on a hardtop while your power distribution is forward at the helm or in a console.
With 10 meters (about 33 ft) to work with, you can run a continuous lead through rigging tubes, bulkheads, and lockers without relying on mid-run splices in damp areas.
Key features
- 10 m (about 33 ft) cable length for long power runs to a GC 100 camera mounting location
- Built for powering the Garmin GC 100 marine camera (not a transducer or network extension cable)
- Helps keep the power run as one uninterrupted length when routing from the panel/helm area to the camera
- Useful for installations where the camera is mounted on the transom, cockpit overhang, hardtop, or other distant location
Compatibility and fit
This cable is intended for Garmin GC 100 marine camera installations. If your system uses a different Garmin camera model, confirm the camera family and connector style before ordering, since camera cabling is not universal across models.
Installation and routing
Plan the route the same way you would for other boat wiring: keep the cable supported at regular intervals, protect it anywhere it passes through fiberglass or aluminum with a grommet, and add chafe protection where it may rub in vibration.
When the run crosses wet lockers or deck penetrations, leave a small drip loop and seal any pass-throughs so water cannot track along the cable into the console or cabin.
Electrical and system notes
Power the camera from a clean DC circuit with the fuse or breaker size matched to the camera requirements. Avoid sharing the feed with high-noise loads when possible, and keep the run away from sources of heat or moving gear in the engine space.
Use on board
This cable suits boats adding a stern-facing view for docking, a cockpit view for monitoring gear, or a camera location that simply sits far from the distribution panel. It is also a straightforward replacement when an existing lead is damaged or too short for a reconfigured layout.
