Overview
The Jabsco 38580-1000 is a control panel and control box kit for Quiet Flush E2 electric marine toilets. It replaces the main user control interface and control module used to operate the toilet, helping restore proper flush control in a marine head without replacing the full toilet assembly.
This kit is made for Jabsco Quiet Flush E2 systems and is used with the 38045 and 38245 series toilets. The touch pad control arrangement supports the Quiet Flush E2 functions used on board, including eco flush, normal flush, and dry bowl operation.

Compatibility and fit
This kit is for boats already using a Jabsco Quiet Flush E2 toilet, not for a manual toilet or a different electric toilet series. Match the toilet series before ordering, especially on vessels where previous owners may have changed the head equipment or mixed parts during earlier repairs.
For the right fit, confirm that the toilet is part of the 38045 or 38245 Quiet Flush E2 range and that the service need is related to the control panel, control box, or flush control operation. This helps avoid replacing unrelated parts such as the discharge pump, rinse pump, solenoid valve, or service seals.
Installation and setup
The control panel mounts where the user operates the toilet, while the control box connects into the toilet's electrical control circuit. As with any marine sanitation electrical work, power should be isolated before removing the old control components, and wiring should be checked for corrosion, loose terminals, or moisture damage before the new kit is connected.
On a boat, many toilet control problems come from the surrounding installation as much as from the control unit itself. Check cable routing, strain relief, and the area behind the panel so the replacement parts are not exposed to unnecessary water intrusion or vibration.
Use cases on board
This kit is a practical service part for cruisers, fishing boats, charter vessels, and sailboats fitted with a Quiet Flush E2 head. It is especially relevant when the toilet still has sound plumbing and pump components, but the user controls or the control module no longer respond as they should.
