Overview
The Garmin 010-11867-10 is a replacement battery assembly and back plate housing for the BarkLimiter Deluxe collar, supplied with the rechargeable lithium-ion battery, gasket, and battery connector already installed. In typical use, BarkLimiter Deluxe runs about 3 months on a charge and carries an IPX7 water-resistance rating when the gasket is seated correctly and the back plate is tightened evenly.
This is the clean fix when the battery is no longer holding charge, the back plate has been damaged, or the seal is not closing the way it should. It is also a practical spare to keep onboard if your dog wears the collar around spray, wet decks, and the kind of dirt that tends to show up on long weekends and overnights.
Key features
- Replacement battery assembly for BarkLimiter Deluxe (rechargeable model with a battery connector).
- Pre-assembled back plate housing with gasket installed to close the battery compartment properly.
- Rechargeable, replaceable lithium-ion battery installed in the assembly.
- Battery connector comes installed so it plugs directly into the collar’s internal port.
- Includes the security screwdriver required to remove and reinstall the collar’s security screws.
- Alignment and even screw tightening help keep the collar sealed for its IPX7 water-resistance rating.
What’s included

Compatibility and fit
This assembly is for the BarkLimiter Deluxe collar that uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery assembly with a plug-in battery connector. It is not the same as BarkLimiter models that take a user-replaceable CR2 battery and a standard back plate.
Installation and setup
Before opening the collar, wipe away dirt, water, and debris so nothing gets pulled into the seal area. Remove the four security screws, lift the battery assembly, and disconnect the battery connector from the device. Plug in the new assembly’s connector until it is seated, then check that the gasket is undamaged and fully seated in its groove.
Hold the assembly and device together, start all four security screws, confirm the back plate is aligned with no gaps, and tighten the screws evenly. Taking a moment to keep the gasket clean and the back plate square is what helps the collar keep its water resistance after the swap.
Charging and care
Fully charge the collar before putting it back into service. Charging a fully depleted battery takes about two hours, and the collar will not charge outside a 32 to 104°F (0 to 40°C) charging temperature range. Store the collar out of direct sunlight and recycle lithium-ion batteries through appropriate local programs when they reach end of life.
Use on board
If your dog wears the collar on a boat, rinse and dry the outside of the unit after salt spray and avoid opening the battery compartment in a wet cockpit. Keeping the spare assembly and the security screwdriver in a dry locker makes it easier to get the collar back in service without improvising tools.
This is a practical fit for BarkLimiter Deluxe owners who depend on consistent runtime and want a straightforward replacement when the battery assembly or seal area has been compromised by daily wear.
