Overview

The Lopolight 301-102 Series is a port sidelight for vertical mounting with 3 NM visibility and a red 112.5 degree sector, prewired with an extended 6 m cable.

It runs on 10-32 VDC (12V or 24V systems) and the housing is sealed to IP68 for exposed mounting locations. Single Stack versions use a slim housing (92.5 x 28 x 49.7 mm), while Double Stack versions use a larger housing format (100 x 100 x 49.7 mm).

This model range is specified for vessels over 50 m where 3 NM sidelights are required. Mount it on the port side with a clear line of sight forward and abeam so the red sector is not blocked by rails, spray deflectors, or deck hardware.

Variants

This product is offered in multiple configurations to match your exterior finish and the housing format used at the mounting location.

Finish (Silver or Black) changes the housing appearance, and Style (Single Stack or Double Stack) changes the housing format and overall footprint.

• 301-102-6M: Finish Silver; Style Single Stack. Uses the slim Single Stack housing when you need one port sidelight in a vertical mount position.
• 301-102-B 6M: Finish Black; Style Single Stack. Same Single Stack format with a black anodized housing for darker paint schemes and hardware.
• 301-102ST 6M: Finish Silver; Style Double Stack. Uses the larger Double Stack housing format where a stacked port sidelight assembly is required in one vertical location.
• 301-102ST-B 6M: Finish Black; Style Double Stack. Same Double Stack format in black for installations that need the stacked housing and a dark exterior finish.

Installation and setup

Plan the location so the light sits vertical and the 112.5 degree sector stays unobstructed. Keep it away from structures that cast shadows across the bow quarter, and avoid mounting where docking lines or fenders will routinely cover the lens.

Use the supplied M6 hardware and bed the fasteners appropriately for your mounting surface. Route the cable with a drip loop and support it so it cannot chafe in vibration zones.

Electrical and system integration

Wire the light into your navigation light circuit on 10-32 VDC. Use a fuse or breaker sized for the circuit and keep all splices in a dry, serviceable location with marine-grade terminals and sealing.

If you extend the run, use at least 0.5 mm2 (AWG 22) conductors or larger and keep voltage drop in mind on long superstructure runs. Confirm polarity before finalizing connections and test the light at the helm switch after installation.

Use cases on board

This is a practical fit for superyachts, commercial vessels, and refits where a 3 NM port sidelight is required and a 6 m lead helps reach distribution points without adding junctions near the mounting location.

Maintenance and care

Rinse salt residue with fresh water during routine washdowns and avoid abrasive cleaners on the lens. During inspections, check that the mounting screws stay tight and that the cable jacket remains intact where it enters the structure.
