Overview

The Attwood Marine LightArmor is a round deck-mount LED navigation sidelight range for boats that need 2 nautical mile port and starboard visibility in a low-profile stainless steel housing. These lights are built for 12V navigation-light circuits and are intended for boats up to 65.6 ft, or 20 m, where a 2-NM sidelight is required.

The stainless steel housing gives the light a clean deck appearance while helping it stand up to spray, washdowns, and regular outdoor exposure. An IP67 rating supports exposed installation areas, and the LED light engine stays cool to the touch during use.

Variants

The visible light color and side configuration change between variants. The round stainless steel deck-mount housing, 2-NM rating, LED light engine, and IP67-rated construction remain consistent across the range.

• NV2012SS-1: Red/green pair. This configuration supplies matching port and starboard sidelights for a complete bow navigation-light setup.
• NV2012SSR-7: Red sidelight. The red light is used on the port side of the vessel as part of a standard navigation-light arrangement.
• NV2012SSG-7: Green sidelight. The green light is used on the starboard side of the vessel as part of a standard navigation-light arrangement.

Installation and fit

These lights are made for deck mounting, so the mounting surface should be flat, secure, and positioned where the required sidelight arc is not blocked by rails, trolling motors, anchors, cleats, canvas, or other bow hardware. The pair version is a practical choice when both sides are being replaced at the same time, while the single red or green options work well when only one side is damaged or being refit.
