Overview
The Lopolight 101-001 Series is a 1 NM starboard sidelight with a 112.5° green sector for vertical mounting on vessels up to 12 m (39.4 ft). It runs on 10-32 VDC so it fits both 12V and 24V systems, and these configurations come prewired with a 6 m shielded marine-grade cable for longer runs.
The housing is anodized aluminum with a PMMA lens and A4 stainless steel screws, and the unit is sealed to an IP68 rating for wet decks and washdowns. Power draw is 1.1 W (about 66 mA at 12V, 34 mA at 24V), and the body measures 92.5 x 28 x 49.7 mm.

- 1 NM visibility rating for vessels under 12 m (39.4 ft)
- 10-32 VDC input range for 12V or 24V electrical systems
- IP68 sealing for heavy spray, rain, and washdowns
- Anodized aluminum body with PMMA lens and A4 stainless steel screws
- Low electrical load: 1.1 W (66 mA at 12V, 34 mA at 24V)
- Compact footprint: 92.5 x 28 x 49.7 mm
- Operating temperature range: -25°C to 55°C
- Approved to COLREG72, EN14744, IEC 60945, IACS E10, USCG, ABS, M.E.D., DNV, LR
Variants
This light is offered in two finish options, both supplied with the extended 6 m cable.
The listed difference between these configurations is the housing finish.
- 101-001 6M: Finish Silver. Blends well with stainless rail hardware and natural aluminum trim.
- 101-001-B 6M: Finish Black. Sits quieter against dark window frames, hardtops, and painted cabin sides.
Installation and setup
Mount the light on the starboard side on a vertical surface where the 112.5° sector stays clear. Before drilling, check sight lines from ahead and abeam so rails, canvas, bow rollers, or fenders do not block the light sector.
Route the attached cable to a dry connection point and leave a small service loop so the light can be removed for service without cutting wiring.
Electrical and system integration
Connect to your navigation light circuit on 10-32 VDC. Minimum feed wire gauge is 0.5 mm2 (AWG 22); for long runs, step up wire size to manage voltage drop, especially on 12V systems.
The attached shielded cable is helpful when the run passes near other onboard wiring and when you want a clean pull through conduits and lockers.
Use cases on board
This is a good match for smaller powerboats, sailboats, and tenders that need a compact starboard sidelight on a cabin side, deckhouse, or a vertical face near the bow. It also suits refits where you want LED navigation lighting with low draw and a sealed housing for year-round exposure.
