Overview

The Vimar Eikon is a Chinese-standard SICURY socket outlet with 2P+E contacts, a 10 A rating, and 250 V AC operation in a 2-module format. It uses screwed terminals, includes enhanced contact protection, and has a compact body that measures 44.8 x 49.0 x 36.8 mm.

On a boat, this outlet makes sense in protected interior spaces where a Chinese plug pattern is needed and the panel is set up for a flush-mounted modular insert. Because it is flush-mounted and rated IP20, it belongs in dry cabin or accommodation areas rather than cockpits, open decks, or other places exposed to spray.

Variants

This outlet is offered in three color configurations within the same Eikon 2-module Chinese-standard format.

Across the range, the electrical rating, dimensions, terminal style, mounting method, and IP20 protection stay the same. What changes between versions is the visible front color used to match surrounding trim and switchgear.

• VM20252.B: Color White. This version fits cleanly into light-colored cabin panels and accommodation spaces without changing the electrical layout.
• VM20252.N: Color Silver. This version keeps the same outlet format while shifting the face color toward a silver finish for interiors with matching hardware or trim.
• VM20252: Color Grey. This version gives a more muted look on darker panels and service areas while keeping the same size and rating.

Installation and setup

Mounting is flush with snap engagement, so the panel or wall box needs to accept a 2-module insert and leave enough rear clearance for the body depth and cable entry at the screwed terminals. The outlet has one receptacle and no hinged lid, no built-in switch, and no loop-through connection, which keeps the layout straightforward when wiring a dedicated AC point.

There is also a label space on the face for circuit marking, which is useful at a galley panel, cabin bulkhead, or service area where outlets need to be clearly identified.
