Overview

The Vimar Eikon 20250 is a flush-mounted 2P+E 10 A 250 V SICURY socket outlet built for the Argentinian standard, with a 1-module format and a compact 22.30 x 49.00 x 37.00 mm body. It uses screwed terminals, includes enhanced contact protection, and has a matt thermoplastic housing that is halogen-free.

For boat installations, this outlet makes sense in protected interior spaces such as cabins, galleys, enclosed helm areas, and other dry accommodation zones where the AC system is set up for the Argentinian plug layout. Its IP20 rating means it should be fitted away from spray, washdowns, and other exposed locations.

The front includes a label space for identification, which is useful when outlets are assigned to a shore power circuit, inverter-fed circuit, or a marked service point inside the vessel.

Variants

This outlet is offered in three color finishes.

Across the range, the socket format, electrical rating, mounting style, terminal type, protection level, and overall device size stay the same. The visible finish is what changes between versions.

• VM20250.B, Color White. This version keeps the outlet understated on light interior panels and joinery.
• VM20250.N, Color Silver. This version changes the visible finish for installations that use metallic or darker trim details.
• VM20250, Color Grey. This version keeps a darker appearance that blends more easily with grey switch surrounds and darker interior panels.

Installation and fit

This is a flush-mounted outlet for installations where the surrounding box, support, and trim are already planned around the Eikon device format. The screwed terminal connection suits fixed AC wiring, and the 1-module body helps when panel space is limited.

Because it is an interior IP20 device, it is better suited to protected accommodation spaces than to cockpit coamings, open bulkheads, or any locker that is likely to see condensation, hose water, or salt spray.

Use on board
