Overview

The TACO Marine F11-1001AS-1 is a stainless steel jaw slide for 7/8 in O.D. tube on bimini tops, canvas frames, and other marine shade hardware. Installation and fit

Confirm the outside diameter of the tube before installation. This jaw slide is made for 7/8 in O.D. tubing, so it should not be forced onto a larger tube or used on undersized tubing where the insert cannot hold properly.

During installation, position the fitting where the connected eye end or frame section can move through its normal range without binding. The rotating Ball & Socket connection is useful on bimini frames because it helps the hardware follow the angle of the canvas frame instead of stressing the tube or hinge point.
