Overview
The Raymarine R70623 is a 2 m audio cable for connecting the Raymarine SR200 InfoLINK SiriusXM receiver to a boat’s audio system. It is the direct replacement audio lead for SR200 installations, giving the receiver the proper line-level audio connection needed for SiriusXM satellite radio playback through an onboard stereo or amplifier input.
The 2 m length gives installers enough reach for many helm, electronics box, cabin, and console layouts without adding unnecessary cable slack. It is a practical part for replacing a missing or damaged SR200 audio cable, completing a new SR200 installation, or tidying up an existing setup where the receiver and stereo are mounted near each other.
Key features
- Made for the Raymarine SR200 InfoLINK SiriusXM receiver.
- 2 m cable length suits common helm, dash, and electronics-compartment installations.
- Supports the SR200 analog audio output connection used for SiriusXM satellite radio playback through an onboard audio system.
- Useful as a direct replacement when the original SR200 audio cable is lost, damaged, or being rerouted during an electronics refit.
- Helps keep the SR200 receiver connected without relying on a generic cable of uncertain fit.
Compatibility and fit
This cable is for the Raymarine SR200 InfoLINK receiver, which brings SiriusXM Marine weather, Fish Mapping, and satellite radio services into compatible Raymarine Axiom systems. For audio playback, the SR200 uses a line-level audio output that is normally routed to the auxiliary input on a marine stereo source unit or directly to a suitable amplifier.
Before ordering, match the cable to the SR200 receiver and confirm that the 2 m run is long enough for the distance between the receiver and the audio equipment. It is most often used where the SR200 is mounted near the helm electronics, behind a dash panel, inside a console, or in a protected electronics compartment.
Installation and setup
Route the cable so it is supported along its run and kept away from sharp edges, hot engine-room surfaces, and areas where lockers or panels may pinch the jacket. Leave a small service loop at the receiver and stereo end so the equipment can be removed for inspection without pulling on the connector.
For cleaner audio performance, avoid running the audio cable tightly bundled with high-current DC wiring, battery cables, inverter wiring, or ignition wiring. On refits, this cable is a simple way to restore the original SR200 audio path while keeping the installation consistent with the Raymarine receiver layout.
Use on board
This cable is a good match for boats using the SR200 for SiriusXM audio at the helm, in the cabin, or through a main cockpit sound system. It is especially useful on cruising boats and fishing boats where the SR200 receiver is already part of the Axiom electronics package and the audio output needs to feed the vessel’s stereo system.
