Overview
The Garmin NSEU644L is an electronic chart region for the Baltic Sea that runs on compatible Garmin chartplotters, with coverage that includes the main Baltic basin and inland waterways and lakes across parts of Scandinavia and Poland. It supports depth range shading with up to 10 ranges and detailed contours shown in up to 1-foot increments in supported areas, which helps when you are planning shallow routes or working a specific depth band.
A one-year subscription is included, giving access to daily chart updates and additional downloadable content through the ActiveCaptain app. Charts and features downloaded during the subscription stay on the card, but new downloads stop once the subscription ends unless it is renewed.
This chart set is a good match for boats that mix coastal passages with inland runs in the region, and for anglers who rely on contour detail and depth shading to stay on structure.
Key features
- Baltic Sea region coverage (Navionics+ chart code NSEU644L; Vision+ chart code NVEU644L).
- Two mapping versions available: Garmin Navionics+ or Garmin Navionics Vision+ with additional visual layers such as high-resolution relief shading, satellite imagery overlays, 3D views and aerial photos where available.
- Two delivery formats: preloaded microSD/SD card or a download that you load onto your own microSD/SD card.
- One-year subscription included for daily updates and downloadable content through the ActiveCaptain app.
- Depth range shading with up to 10 shaded ranges for fast target-depth highlighting.
- Detailed contours shown in up to 1-foot increments in supported areas.
- Auto Guidance+ route suggestions on compatible chartplotters (planning tool only).
Variants
This Baltic Sea chart is offered in multiple configurations that differ by mapping version and delivery format.
The version sets the chart feature level (Garmin Navionics+ or Garmin Navionics Vision+), and the format determines whether the data arrives on a physical card or is provided as a download you load to a memory card using Garmin Express.
- 010-C1273-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format microSD/SD. Supplied on a card that you insert into the chartplotter to access the chart layers.
- 010-D1875-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format Download. Delivered as a download that is written to your own microSD/SD card before it is used in the chartplotter.
- 010-C1273-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format microSD/SD. Supplied on a card and includes the Vision+ layer set for more visual chart detail where supported.
- 010-D1875-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format Download. Delivered as a download and loaded to your own microSD/SD card, with the same Vision+ layer set for supported areas.
Compatibility and fit
These charts are intended for compatible Garmin chartplotters that support Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ cartography. Make sure your unit supports the mapping format and that you have the correct card slot for the media you plan to use.
Some update and downloadable-content features depend on pairing with the ActiveCaptain app. Auto Guidance+ is a planning feature and does not replace local knowledge, official navigation aids, or safe watchkeeping.
Installation and updates
For microSD/SD versions, insert the card into the chartplotter and select the chart layers you want to display. Leave the card installed while navigating so the chart data remains available.
For download versions, use Garmin Express to write the chart region to a compatible memory card, then insert that card into the chartplotter. Plan on doing the initial download and larger updates on a stable internet connection before you depart.
To keep the card working reliably on board, store it in a dry case when it is not in use and keep the contacts free of salt film and grime.
