The JL Audio Mount Fixture for Enclosed Tower Speaker is a range of mounting hardware for JL Audio ETXv2 and ETXv3 enclosed tower speaker enclosures. It covers common wake tower and hardtop installs with pipe-clamp sizes from 1.315" up to 3", plus surface and OEM-tower fixtures where a clamp mount is not the right fit.

This is the hardware piece that decides whether your speaker pods sit where you want them and stay there when the boat is bouncing. The main fit check is matching the mount style and the correct tube diameter or OEM tower location for your boat.

Variants

This product line varies by mounting style and, for pipe mounts, the clamp inner diameter. Fixed pipe clamps are available in 1.315", 1.66", 1.9", 2", 2.25", 2.375", 2.5", 2.875", and 3" sizes. Swivel pipe mounts are available in 1.315", 1.66", 1.9", 2", 2.25", 2.375", and 2.5".

Surface-mount fixtures are available for flat mounting areas, including options that match certain OEM tower locations such as MasterCraft towers (2006-up), Nautique towers (2009-2016), and Four Winns towers. A low-profile MasterCraft surface option is also offered for tighter clearances at the factory tower position.

Compatibility and fit

For pipe mounts, measure the outside diameter of your tower tube and match it to the clamp inner diameter listed for the mount. The right size lets the clamp halves close evenly so the fasteners can be tightened without forcing the tube or leaving a gap.

For OEM tower fixtures, confirm the boat brand, model year range, and tower style match the named OEM fitment. If your tower has been swapped or modified, a pipe mount or surface mount may be a better match than an OEM-specific fixture.

Installation and setup

Pipe mounts are intended for horizontal tubing like a wake tower crossbar, hardtop rail, or similar structure. Set the pod position, snug fasteners evenly, then bring them to final torque after the speaker is aimed and the cable routing is sorted so the wire is supported and not rubbing on sharp edges.

Swivel versions are meant to set the final aim during installation. They allow 334 degrees of total swivel and are typically installed with the enclosure directly above (12 o'clock) or directly below (6 o'clock) a horizontal pipe. Once the angle is set, keep it there rather than rotating it repeatedly.

Use on board

This style of mount is a good match for wake boats and day boats running enclosed tower speakers where vibration and spray are part of normal use. Surface and OEM tower options also help when the tower tubing size or layout does not leave room for a standard clamp mount, but you still want a clean, secure speaker install.
