Overview
The Raymarine E66010 is a 5 m transducer extension cable for compatible traditional transducers. It adds 5 m (16.4 ft) to the standard cable run and is used with Raymarine models such as the E66054 P66, E66008 P79, and A66091 B744V.
This is the kind of cable you use when the transducer is mounted aft or low in the hull and the sounder or display is installed farther forward. On boats with longer console runs, bulkheads, or rigging chases, the extra length helps finish the cable run cleanly without forcing the original lead to stretch.
Because it is a transducer extension cable rather than a network cable, fit should be checked against the transducer part number before ordering. For the listed transducers, it extends the existing connection path without changing the transducer type or the basic sonar setup.
Key features
- Adds 5 m (16.4 ft) to the existing transducer cable run
- Made for Raymarine traditional transducer installations
- Compatible with E66054 P66, E66008 P79, and A66091 B744V transducers
- Useful when the display or sonar module is mounted farther from the transducer location
- Helps with longer routing paths through consoles, bilges, and bulkheads
Compatibility and fit
The E66010 is meant for specific Raymarine traditional transducer setups, so the important fit check is the transducer model already on the boat. If your system uses an E66054 P66, E66008 P79, or A66091 B744V, this cable adds reach to that installation without changing to a different cable family.
It suits refits where electronics have been moved, as well as new installs on larger hulls where the original transducer lead does not comfortably reach the helm or sonar location. It is not a substitute for RayNet, SeaTalk, or NMEA 2000 cabling.
Installation and routing
Before ordering, measure the full cable path rather than the straight-line distance. On many boats, the real run includes turns at the transom, service loops near the display, and extra length for passing through rigging tubes or access panels.
This cable is a good match for center consoles, pilothouse boats, and sailboats where the transducer sits well away from the electronics. It also makes sense when an existing sonar installation works as it should but needs more reach after a helm change or equipment relocation.
