Overview
The Garmin 010-12784-02 is a stainless steel transom mount for the Panoptix LVS32 live sonar transducer. It gives you a fixed stern mounting option when you want the LVS32 on the transom instead of a trolling motor or pole, with a bracket that holds the transducer steady through chop and engine vibration.
This mount is meant for a typical through-bolted or screwed transom install, where the transducer stays in clean water and away from heavy turbulence. Packaged weight is about 0.5 lb, and the box is about 1 in x 2 in x 4 in.
Key features
- Fits the Garmin Panoptix LVS32 transducer for a dedicated transom install
- Stainless steel mount hardware suited to saltwater exposure and routine washdowns
- Fixed stern location keeps the LVS32 in a consistent position when underway and when fishing at low speed
- Simple bracket-style mounting works well on many fiberglass and aluminum transoms
Installation and setup
Plan the location so the transducer has a clear view and sits in clean water. Avoid spots directly behind strakes, steps, or through-hull fittings that can introduce aerated water at speed.
When drilling the transom, seal fastener holes properly to protect the core and prevent leaks. Route and secure the transducer cable so it cannot chafe on the transom edge, splashwell hardware, or the engine during turns and trim changes.
Compatibility and fit
This mount is for the Panoptix LVS32 transducer. It is a mounting accessory only and does not replace trolling-motor, shaft, pole, or other specialty mounts that may be used for different installation styles.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the mount after saltwater use and check fasteners periodically, especially after the first few trips and after long runs in rough water. Keeping the bracket clean and the fasteners snug helps maintain a stable transducer angle over time.
Use on board
This setup is a good match for boaters who want their LVS32 in a fixed stern location for consistent positioning during coastal runs, lake fishing, or dockside use. It also suits rigs where the trolling motor is removed frequently or where a permanent transom install is the cleanest way to keep the transducer ready to go.
