Overview
The Garmin 010-11031-00 is an adjustable handheld mount that fastens to a flat surface so a compatible Garmin handheld GPS or satellite communicator stays in a consistent spot on board or in a vehicle.
It gives you a fixed place for the device when the boat is moving, with an angle you can set for your helm position to keep the screen readable. Packaged weight is about 0.22 lb.
Mounting screws are not included, and when it is used with an inReach Mini 2, an additional Spine Mount Adapter is required.
Key features
- Flat-surface mount for keeping a compatible Garmin handheld within reach at the helm, nav station, or dash
- Adjustable angle to aim the screen where you can see it without holding the device
- Works in marine and vehicle installs when you want the same handheld in a fixed location
- Mounting screws are not included so you can match fasteners to your surface and corrosion requirements
- Requires a Spine Mount Adapter when used with inReach Mini 2
Compatibility and fit
This mount is used across many Garmin handheld families, including handheld GPS and satellite communicators. Fit depends on the device using the compatible handheld mounting interface, so it is worth confirming your exact model before drilling.
If you are mounting an inReach Mini 2, plan on the additional Spine Mount Adapter so the device locks in correctly.
Installation and setup
Choose a spot with a clear viewing angle and enough clearance to dock and remove the handheld, such as the helm console, inside a pilothouse, or on a dash panel. On thin fiberglass or plastic, through-bolting with a backing plate helps the mount stay tight in vibration and chop.
Use marine sealant around fastener holes where water can reach the backside of the panel, and select stainless fasteners that match your environment since hardware is not included.
Use cases on board
This mount makes sense for boats that run a handheld as a primary navigator on a small console, as a backup GPS in the cockpit, or as a removable unit shared between the boat and tow vehicle. It also suits fishing and tender setups where a handheld needs a steady, hands-free position while underway.
