Overview

The Garmin 010-11023-00 is a bike/cart handlebar mount that lets you snap a compatible Garmin handheld GPS into place on a round bar up to 1 inch (2.54 cm) in diameter.

It uses the spine-style mounting interface found on many Garmin handhelds, keeping the unit in a stable, easy-to-see position. On a small boat or tender, the same bar-mount approach can work on a grab rail or console rail when the tubing size is within the 1 inch limit.

Installation and setup

Position the mounting plate on the handlebar or rail, route the cable ties through the plate holes and around the bar, then tighten evenly until the plate cannot rotate.

Attach the handheld by engaging the device’s spine mounting interface and confirm the screen stays readable through the full range of movement of the bar or steering.

Compatibility and fit

This mount is intended for Garmin handhelds that use the spine mounting system. If you are using an inReach Mini 2, it requires an additional spine mount adapter before it will attach to this mount.

Bar diameter is the main fit check: any round tubing over 1 inch (2.54 cm) will be too large for the included cable-tie mounting method.

Maintenance and care

Check the cable ties periodically for looseness or wear, especially if the mount lives outside. Replace the ties any time you remove the mount or if you see cracking, and rinse with fresh water after exposure to salt spray.
