The Vimar Idea HDMI 2.1b socket outlet is a modular insert for flush mounting that brings an HDMI connection to a clean panel face. Across the range it keeps the same 1-module IDEA format, Keystone fixing, IP20 protection, halogen-free thermoplastic construction, and matt finish.

For marine interiors, this works best in protected spaces such as a cabin media panel, chart table, or enclosed helm console where you want an accessible HDMI point without leaving loose cabling visible. It is not suited to exposed deck locations or other wet areas, since the insert is IP20 and does not include a dust cover or hinged lid.

Across the four versions, the outlet type stays the same: HDMI 2.1b connection, Keystone fixing, flush mounting, 1-module size, thermoplastic construction, matt surface, and IP20 protection. The differences are the face color and the angle shown for each version.

• VM16334: Color Gray, Angle 60°. This version keeps the gray face and the listed 60° angle for panels already using gray Idea trim.
• VM16334.H: Color Gray, Angle 90°. This version pairs the gray face with a 90° outlet layout, which can make rear cable routing easier where space behind the panel is limited.
• VM16334.B: Color Ivory, Angle 60°. This version matches ivory trim and keeps the listed 60° angle for installations that need a lighter finish at the panel face.
• VM16334.H.B: Color Ivory, Angle 90°. This version combines the ivory face with the 90° outlet layout for the same finish match with a tighter cable turn behind the insert.

Installation and fit

This device belongs to the Vimar Idea modular system, so fit should be checked against the matching Idea mounting hardware and cover plates already on the vessel. The insert itself is flush-mounted and takes up one module.

The range is a good match for boats that need a neat HDMI connection point at a cabin screen, onboard entertainment panel, or enclosed helm display. It is less suited to exposed positions where spray, washdowns, or a covered outlet would be part of the requirement.
