Overview
The Raymarine A80357 is a protective suncover for Raymarine i70s and p70s displays, as well as retrofitted i50, i60, i70 and p70 instruments using the square i70s or eS-style bezel. It is a simple replacement cover for exposed helm and cockpit instruments where the screen needs protection when the boat is sitting at the dock, on a mooring or between trips.
This grey cover fits over the display face to help shield it from UV exposure, spray residue, dust and day-to-day cockpit grime when the instrument is not in use. It is a practical part to keep on board for sailboats, cruising boats and fishing boats with Raymarine instrument displays mounted in the cockpit, at the pedestal or near the helm.
Key features
- Fits Raymarine i70s and p70s displays, with compatibility for retrofitted i50, i60, i70 and p70 instruments using the square i70s or eS-style bezel.
- Grey protective cover helps reduce direct UV exposure on the display face when the instrument is not being used.
- Useful for cockpit, pedestal and helm-mounted instruments that see regular sun, salt air and dockside dirt.
- Replacement accessory for worn, missing or cracked instrument covers without changing the display or bezel.
- Lightweight cover with a listed shipping size of 2 in H x 5 in W x 5 in L and a listed weight of 0.3 lb.
Compatibility and fit
This cover is made for the square Raymarine instrument style used on i70s and p70s displays. It also works with earlier i50, i60, i70 and p70 units when those instruments have been retrofitted with the compatible square-style bezel. Before ordering, match the display family and bezel style on the boat, since the cover fit depends on the front shape of the instrument rather than the network or power system behind it.
Use on board
The cover is most useful for displays that stay exposed in the cockpit, at the wheel, on a pedestal pod or on an open helm. Fitting the cover when the display is off helps keep the screen cleaner and reduces unnecessary sun exposure during storage, dockside periods and time between outings.
For high-speed running or when the vessel is being trailered, the cover is better removed and stowed so it does not come loose in wind or spray. Regular rinsing and light cleaning help keep salt and dirt from building up on the cover surface.
