Overview

The Vimar Arké 19283 is a 16 A, 250 V SICURY Bipasso socket outlet in Italian P17/11 format, interlocked with a 1P+N C16 residual current breaker with overcurrent protection in a 3-module Arké layout. It is built for 230 V AC, 50 Hz supply, with 10 mA fault-current protection and 3000 A breaking capacity.

For boat refits and interior AC distribution points, this suits installations that already use Italian-standard outlets and need protection at the socket itself rather than only upstream in the panel. The unit is flush-mounted, uses snap mounting in the modular support, and connects by screw terminals.

Its IP20 rating makes it a fit for dry interior spaces such as cabins, galleys, chart areas, and utility lockers. It is not the right choice for open deck, cockpit, or other washdown locations.

This product is offered in two finish options within the same electrical and mechanical format.

The verified difference between variants is the visible finish. Current rating, voltage, protection, mounting method, dimensions, and module size remain the same across both versions.

• VM19283.M / Color Metal. This version has an aluminium-tone appearance with a matt lacquered surface, which suits panels and switch areas with metallic trim.
• VM19283.B / Color White. This version has a matt white face, which blends more easily with light-colored interior panels and standard white switchgear.

Installation and fit

The body measures 44.8 x 49 x 56.3 mm. That depth is worth checking before ordering for cabin liners, console fascias, or other panels where rear clearance is limited by structure or cable runs.

This is a flush-mounted Arké modular device, so it belongs in an Arké-compatible installation using a 3-module position. Electrically, it belongs on a 230 V AC circuit and is not a 12 V or 24 V DC accessory.

Use on board

This is a sensible match for boats that already use Italian-standard interior outlets and need a protected socket at the point of use. It works well in accommodation spaces where panel space is limited and combining the outlet with local RCBO protection keeps the installation tidy.
