Overview
The Jabsco Deluxe Flush is an electric marine toilet range with a 14 in. domestic-size bowl, 12 V DC or 24 V DC variants, and straight or angled back options for different head layouts. It uses a touch-pad control system with Fill, Quick Flush, Flush, and Empty functions, so the bowl can be managed without a manual pump.
The range covers both on-board fresh water rinse models and sea, river, or lake water rinse models. Fresh water versions use a solenoid valve and siphon breaker for connection to a pressurized water system capable of at least 2.9 gpm (11 lpm), while raw water versions use a remote self-priming rinse pump with a Pumpgard strainer. The toilet body uses a white glazed vitreous china bowl with a soft close composite seat and lid.
For fit checks, the 14 in. variants share a listed height of 14.4 in. (366 mm), width of 14.8 in. (375 mm), and depth of 18.7 in. (475 mm). The discharge connection is 1-1/2 in. (38 mm), with 3/4 in. (19 mm) rinse hose tails used on the toilet rinse side.
Key features
- 14 in. Deluxe Flush format with domestic bowl size for a head that feels closer to a household toilet while still fitting a marine installation.
- Available in straight back and angled back versions, helping the toilet sit against a vertical bulkhead, a sloped surface, or a corner depending on the boat layout.
- Fresh water variants connect through a solenoid valve and siphon breaker to an on-board pressurized water system with at least 2.9 gpm (11 lpm) available flow.
- Sea, river, or lake water variants use a remote self-priming rinse pump and Pumpgard strainer for boats that flush from outside water rather than tanked fresh water.
- Four-button touch panel controls Fill, Quick Flush, Flush, and Empty functions, with user selection for leaving the bowl wet or dry after use.
- Quick Flush uses less than 1 litre of water on the dry setting, useful where holding tank capacity or fresh water use matters.
- Internally mounted macerating flush pump discharges waste through a 1-1/2 in. (38 mm) outlet hose and is rated to discharge up to 6 ft (2 m) above the toilet base.
- 12 V DC models use a 25 amp recommended fuse, while 24 V DC models use a 15 amp recommended fuse.
- Complies with ISO8846 marine ignition protection for DC equipment in appropriate marine installations.
Variants
This parent product covers eight 14 in. Deluxe Flush configurations. The variants change by back style, rinse source, and DC voltage: straight or angled back, on-board fresh water or sea, river, and lake water rinse, and 12 V DC or 24 V DC electrical supply.
The listed 14 in. models share the domestic bowl size, composite soft close seat and lid, 4-button touch panel, 14.4 in. height, 14.8 in. width, and 18.7 in. depth. Weight and rinse hardware vary by configuration, so the selected part number should match the boat's voltage, water source, and mounting space.
Installation and system fit
Plan the installation as part of the full sanitation system, including the inlet water source, discharge route, holding tank or overboard discharge arrangement, seacocks, and vented loops where the toilet or pipework can fall below the waterline. Raw water installations use 3/4 in. (19 mm) inlet pipework, while the waste outlet uses 1-1/2 in. (38 mm) discharge hose.
The straight back version suits installations where the toilet sits tight to a vertical bulkhead. The angled back version works where the aft face of the head compartment is sloped or where the shape helps reduce the footprint near a corner.
Electrical and controls
The control box connects to the boat's 12 V DC or 24 V DC supply, the flush pump, the rinse solenoid or rinse pump, and the touch panel. Use marine-grade multi-strand copper wire, support the wiring along the run, and size the fuse or breaker for the selected voltage.
The four-button panel is practical for family cruising and guest heads because the user can add water, run a light-use flush, run a fuller flush, or empty the bowl without learning a manual pump routine.
Maintenance and care
The vitreous china bowl can be cleaned with a liquid or cream ceramic cleaner, while the seat, lid, and outside surfaces should be cleaned with non-abrasive liquid cleaner. Avoid bleach, acetone, abrasive pads, and thick toilet cleaners, as they can damage plastic parts, valves, seals, gaskets, or the seat finish.
This range is a sensible fit for powerboats and sailing yachts where an electric head, lower water use, and a clean finished appearance matter in a compact head compartment.
