The IP43 rating depends on the screw terminals facing downward, so the unit should not be installed upside down or in a position where water can collect at the terminals.

Use the correct cable size and overcurrent protection for the vessel’s wiring plan, load current, and cable run. The 12 V and 24 V input models include a non-replaceable input fuse, but that does not replace proper circuit protection at the source battery or distribution panel.

Electrical integration on board
