Overview

The Vimar Eikon is a cable outlet with a 2P+T 45 A 250 V terminal bar for square British standard mounting boxes. It is a flush, fixed cable entry point with a built-in mounting frame and cover, so the cable exit stays neat on the finished face while the termination stays behind the unit.

On board, this suits protected interior spaces where a hard-wired cable needs to pass through a finished panel without using a plug socket, such as cabins, galleys, service areas, or helm interiors that already use the Eikon system. The terminal bar is rated 45 A at 250 V 50/60 Hz and accepts flexible cables from 4 mm² to 10 mm².

This is an ordinary IPX0 device, so it belongs in a dry installation area rather than an exposed deck, wet locker, or washdown zone. Across this range, the electrical format stays the same and the visible change is the finish.

This product is offered in three finish options within the same Eikon cable outlet format.

The listed variants change the visible color. The 45 A, 250 V, 2P+T terminal bar, the built-in mounting frame and cover, and the square British standard box format remain the same across the versions shown here.

• VM20047.B: Color White. This version keeps the same electrical layout with a light finish that blends into white switch panels and cabin interiors.
• VM20047.N: Color Silver. This version uses the same outlet format with a silver toned face that suits modern instrument panels and metallic trim.
• VM20047: Color Grey. This version keeps the same fit and rating with a darker face that works well where existing Eikon devices are already in grey.

Compatibility and fit

This outlet is not a general-purpose deck gland or a weatherproof exterior fitting. It is part of the Vimar Eikon switching range and makes sense where the boat already uses square British standard boxes and matching interior electrical trim.
