Across both versions, the rating, one-module format, flush-mounted installation, screwed terminal connection, IP20 protection, and device dimensions remain the same. The visible difference is the finish color.

• VM16250.B: Color Ivory. This version has a lighter tone that works well with cream, ivory, or warmer interior trim.
• VM16250: Color Gray. This version suits gray frames, utility panels, and interiors with a darker switchgear finish.

Installation and fit

This outlet is made for flush mounting and occupies one module, so it is most often used as a replacement within an existing Vimar Idea panel or as part of a matching new installation built around that series. Before ordering, it is worth checking both the module format and the plug standard already used on board, since this is an Argentinian-pattern AC outlet and not a 12 V or 24 V accessory socket.

Because the protection rating is IP20, placement matters. It belongs in dry accommodation spaces or protected service areas, not on open decks, transoms, cockpits, or any location that sees spray, washdowns, or persistent condensation.
