Overview

The Vimar Eikon 20257 SICURY multistandard socket outlet is a 2-module flush-mounted AC outlet for the Eikon range, rated at 13 A and 250 V. It uses screwed terminals, includes enhanced contact protection, and fits cleanly into interior electrical panels where a compact outlet is needed.

The multistandard format is useful on boats that carry chargers, small appliances, or visiting equipment with different plug types. It accepts several common international plug formats, while the thermoplastic body is halogen-free and the front stays low-profile in the panel.

This is an IP20 device, so it belongs in protected interior spaces such as cabins, saloons, galleys, and chart tables rather than exposed deck or washdown areas. It also helps to note that it does not maintain earth continuity with Schuko and French 2P+T plugs.

Variants

This outlet is offered in three color versions within the same Eikon 2-module format.

The electrical rating, mounting method, terminal type, and core outlet layout stay the same across the range. What changes between variants is the visible finish on the front of the device.

• VM20257.B: Color White. This version keeps the outlet face light and unobtrusive on white or light-toned interior panels.
• VM20257.N: Color Silver. This version has a silver appearance with a matt front that pairs well with metallic trim and darker modern interiors.
• VM20257: Color Grey. This version has a darker face that blends neatly into utility panels and grey Eikon installations.

Compatibility and fit

This is a flush-mounted insert for the Vimar Eikon system and it takes up 2 modules. The device measures 44.8 mm wide, 49 mm high, and 28.2 mm deep, so it is worth checking back-box depth and wiring clearance before ordering.

For onboard use, it suits vessels with protected 250 V AC circuits where mixed plug formats are part of day-to-day use. It is a good match for finished interior spaces on cruising boats and yachts that already use Vimar Eikon hardware, and less suited to exposed areas where spray, washdowns, or direct weather are part of normal use.
