The Vimar Idea 16786 Classica cover plate is a 1-module technopolymer plate for panel mounting, available in Bright White, Black, Idea White, and Graphite Grey. It measures 40 x 80 mm with an 8.9 mm depth, mounts horizontally or vertically, and uses clamp fastening with a mounting grid.

This plate is made from halogen-free thermoplastic with a glossy surface and includes a label space or information area on the face. It is suitable for built-in installation, wall duct, and subfloor installation duct box layouts where a single module needs a clean finished surround.

On board, it makes sense in protected interior areas such as cabin switch panels, helm consoles under cover, utility spaces, and other enclosed locations where appearance and clear labeling matter. With an IP00 rating, it is better suited to sheltered installations than exposed positions that take spray or washdowns.

Across the range, the changing attribute is color. The core layout stays the same with 1-module panel mounting, horizontal or vertical installation, clamp fastening, mounting grid, label space, and the same 40 x 80 mm footprint with 8.9 mm depth.

• VM16786.01: Color Bright White. This finish works well with light switch surrounds and clean white interior panels.
• VM16786.16: Color Black. This finish keeps the plate visually quieter on dark helm panels, switch banks, and black trim pieces.
• VM16786.04: Color Idea White. This is a warmer white tone that can sit differently from Bright White when matching existing Vimar trim.
• VM16786.15: Color Graphite Grey. This darker neutral tone fits grey and anthracite panel schemes without drawing much contrast.
