Overview
The Lumishore 010-04355-00 is a TIX402 interchangeable flush-fit thru-hull underwater HD camera that delivers a Full HD (1080p) live view below the waterline. It runs on 12 V DC only (about 3 W, up to 0.25 A) and outputs video over BNC as HD-SDI or composite (NTSC/PAL), so it can feed a compatible MFD, monitor, or converter.
The housing sits low on the hull with an IP68 seal and a marine bronze body with a borosilicate glass lens. It uses a 57 mm (2-1/4") thru-hull cutout and the camera module is removable from inside the boat, which helps when servicing the unit without disturbing the external fitting.
Key features
- Full HD 1080p image with 67° viewing angle and fixed-focus 3.6 mm lens
- HD-SDI and composite video outputs on BNC connectors (NTSC/PAL supported on composite output)

- 12 V DC only, approx 3 W draw (up to 0.25 A); 1 A fuse is specified per camera

- Bonding connection provided on the housing; isolation sleeves are available for metal-hull installations

Installation and setup
This camera mounts through the hull with the external face sitting nearly flush, which keeps drag and snag points down. Plan the location with both sides of the hull in mind: you need room to tighten the locknut, route the cable, and keep enough internal clearance to remove the camera module later from inside the boat.
A typical placement is about 150 to 250 mm (6 to 10 inches) below the waterline, away from exhaust outlets and hot machinery spaces. The housing is bonded through the DC bonding system for galvanic protection, and the product supports isolation sleeves when installing through a metal hull.
Video output and system integration
The unit provides two video formats: HD-SDI for high-definition displays and a composite output for systems that still use standard-definition video. Both outputs use BNC connections, so confirm your display input type and connector style before routing cable runs.
If your display expects HDMI, the camera can be paired with an HD-SDI to HDMI converter. For installs that need longer cable runs than the standard lead, extension cabling is available to keep connections dry and accessible inside the boat.
Use on board
A thru-hull underwater camera is a practical add-on for checking running gear while alongside, keeping an eye on the area behind the boat while maneuvering, or getting a steady underwater view at anchor. It’s a good match for boats already wired for 12 V systems where a permanent thru-hull installation makes sense and interior access is available for service.
