Overview
The Lumishore 010-04532-00 is an EOS TIX804 interchangeable thru-hull underwater LED light that runs on 10.5 to 31 V DC for 12V or 24V systems, with up to 12,000 fixture lumens and a 110° beam.
It mounts through the hull with a low-profile 120 mm (4.72 in) light face outside, while service access is handled from inside the boat thanks to the internal driver and internal LED array. The light head is IP68-rated for permanent underwater mounting.
This model is a full color change (RGBW) light meant for helm control of colors, modes, and effects through a compatible MFD or an optional Lumishore display within the EOS lighting ecosystem.
Key features
- 12,000 fixture lumens with a 110° beam for broad coverage along the transom and hull sides.
- 10.5 to 31 V DC input for 12V and 24V systems; max current draw 8.8 A at 12V or 4.4 A at 24V.
- Full EOS color change (RGBW), with control of color and effects from a compatible MFD or an optional Lumishore display.
- IP68 water-ingress rating for underwater installation.
- Internal multi-channel driver with built-in protections including reverse polarity, surge protection, soft start, and automatic thermal roll-back.
- Marine bronze body with a borosilicate glass lens; bonding connection provided, with isolation sleeves available for metal hull installs.
- 120 mm (4.72 in) light face with an 8.5 mm (0.34 in) exterior profile; 86 mm (3-3/8 in) shaft hole cut-out and 184 mm (7.24 in) shaft length.
- 3 m (9.8 ft) light cable and plug-and-play connections within the EOS system.
Compatibility and fit
Plan for an 86 mm (3-3/8 in) through-hull cut-out and confirm you have enough interior clearance for the 184 mm (7.24 in) shaft length, cabling, and any backing structure. The 120 mm (4.72 in) face sits low on the exterior, which helps when mounting on transoms and hull sides where you want a clean profile.
This style of light is commonly installed on the transom, along the aft quarters, or on the bottom, depending on the effect you want and what internal access is available at the mounting location.
Installation and setup
A thru-hull light install is all about good hull prep and sealing. The hole should be drilled cleanly, edges should be sealed appropriately for the hull construction, and the unit should be bedded with a marine sealant suitable for below-the-waterline use. Route the cable with strain relief and chafe protection so vibration and movement do not work the connection over time.
The bonding point is there for a reason on a bronze thru-hull fitting. Tie it into the vessel bonding system where applicable and keep it consistent with the rest of your underwater metals setup.
Electrical and control integration
The light accepts 12V or 24V DC across a 10.5 to 31 V range, and the built-in driver manages the multi-channel RGBW output. Communications are handled over the Lumi-DMX protocol (DMX 512 and RDMX compatible), which is how the EOS lighting system manages colors, modes, and effects.
This is a good match for boats where you want underwater lighting control at the helm and you already plan to run an EOS-compatible lighting control setup, especially on larger cruisers and sportfish boats where cable routing and access from inside the hull matter.
Materials and corrosion resistance
The bronze body and glass lens are built for continuous immersion, but they still need the same attention you give any underwater fitting. Keep an eye on bonding and anode health so galvanic activity stays in check, especially in marinas with mixed shore power environments.
Maintenance and care
Wipe the lens periodically to keep marine growth from dulling the output. Use a non-abrasive cleaner that is safe for glass and avoid aggressive scraping that can leave marks. During haul-outs, inspect the sealant line, confirm hardware is snug, and verify the cable run is still protected from chafe.
